We are sure that you will find varieties to interest and excite your taste buds in our new autumn selection of coffees and teas. Whether your preference is for mild delicate and complex flavours, or for strong, rich and powerful ones.

Here are some ideas for your autumn tasting.

COFFEE

The character of Tanzania Kibo Chagga has a subtle acidity, with a fullness and roundness combining to make a beautifully balanced flavour. The mild acidity is particularly noticeable in our medium roast and makes a great breakfast coffee, dark roasted the flavour becomes more intense and much smoother.

Costa Rica San Jose has been one of our most popular Central American coffees for a great many years. This autumn we are purchasing from a new supplier, Libertad Co-operative, an organization founded in 1961 to promote small farmers. They are located in the Heredia and Alajuela districts where the coffee is grown at high altitude on farms dedicated to environmental and worker protection. Mild and gentle acidity with a round fullness is its flavour profile. This is a Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee.

Brazil Daterra Bruzzi was originally created for the intensely competitive Italian coffee market where the flavour specification for great espresso coffee is very demanding. It is named after the Abruzzi region in central Italy, and has since become a world-wide favourite. Different in character to the traditional Brazil Santos varieties, it has a lot of body with a very pleasing acidity at the finish.

Try them by purchasing our new Coffee Taster Pack which contains 50g Tanzania Kibo Chagga, 50g Costa Rica San Jose, and 50g Brazil Daterra Bruzzi. TEA

Darjeeling Garden Mark Castleton produced near to the town of Kurseong is still regarded as one of India's premier tea gardens. Founded one hundred and twenty years ago, by Dr. Charles Graham, it maintains its devotion to producing the highest quality Darjeeling teas. Bright amber in the cup, its slight 'nutty' like flavour makes for a superb afternoon tea.

One of the best Orange Pekoe teas we have tasted is our Ceylon Orange Pekoe Garden Mark Pettiagalla. Its smooth flavour can be enjoyed black, or with milk or lemon. Medium in strength it makes a lovely afternoon or evening tea.

Tea has been grown in China for thousands of years. One of its oldest producing areas is Yunnan located on the south west fronteirs, where cloud veiled mountains are criss-crossed by meandering rivers; it has tea trees said to be eight hundred years old. Yunnan tea is a strong tea with a crisp tangy edge. It has a bright full flavour, and is great served with a slice of lemon.

Try these teas by purchasing our new Tea Taster Pack which contains 50g Darjeeling Garden Mark Castleton, 50g Ceylon Orange Pekoe Garden Mark Pettiagalla, and 50g Yunnan.
