PERSONAL TASTING NOTES FROM TONY AND DAVID HIGGINS -

Notes from David Higgins

Our Autumn tea is delicious served black, or add a little honey to make a warming seasonal drink. The black China tea is delicately flavoured with redcurrant and contains some thistle flowers. If your taste is for the more traditional style of tea I would recommend the Higgins Afternoon Blend. This is a blend of teas from India and China and contains a little Earl Grey. Best served black or with a slice of lemon.

Notes from Tony Higgins

I am recommending our new Rwanda Kopakabi coffee this month, having been impressed by the flavour of the tasting the samples sent to us earlier this year, the shipment has now fully lived up to expectation. It is an exciting find. Very full in the cup with a pleasing light acidity that tantalises my palate so that I want to enjoy another cup straight away. It has a lively character, medium in strength with a round fullness a no background harshness. Excellent black, or with milk or cream. Featured in our Coffee Special Offers section because we have a limited supply. I do hope we can purchase more.
