It is believed that the Arabica coffee tree originated in Ethiopia where some may still be discovered growing wild. This huge country produces some of the world's most unusual coffees.

Harar Longberry
Medium Roasted

It has a deep, heavy flavour, a fruity aftertaste and is very fragrant. Grown by the Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union who provide financial support for the individual farmers and invest in community projects to provide health centres, schools and water supplies. it is probably at its best prepared and served in the Turkish manner. Serve black. Also recommended for filter makers.

Mocha
Medium Roasted

The flavour is fruity, sometimes called 'gamey', and is very different to most other fine coffees. Makes very acceptable 'Turkish' coffee served in the traditional manner. It also prepares well in filter makers. Serve black.

Yirga Chefe
Medium Roasted

This coffee has a lovely, sweet flavour with a delicacy that in our opinion makes it quite unique. Recommended for filter makers. Serve black or with cream.
