Kenya produces some of the most sought-after coffees which are famous for their bright, lively flavours and rich aromas. A small percentage retain their estate marks when sold through Nairobi auctions, others, though not from a single estate, are of excellent quality.
Kenya Estate Gethumbwini
Medium Roasted or Dark Roasted
This coffee has lovely acidity or 'point’ and is very fragrant. It is produced at high altitude in the area north of Nairobi towards Thika. Recommended for all makers. We suggest the dark roast for drinking after dinner. Serve black or with milk or cream.
Kenya Peaberry
Medium Roasted or Dark Roasted
Peaberry beans occur naturally when only one bean forms inside the cherry, usually there are two. Peaberry has a very pleasing dry, sharp point. Very acceptable for breakfast. Recommended for all makers. Serve black or with cream.
