Silver Needles Mannong White Buds FT
Grown in Mannong Ancient Tea Gardens in the Yunnan province of China on some of the world's oldest trees, some dating back 1500 years. These 'Silver Needles' are picked as buds before the leaves have opened and are coated in soft white hairs. They are very soft and delicate with a 'peachy' note on first infusion. Later infusions reveal a honey sweetness. This tea is maturing nicely and is becoming more complex. One to savour.
Best brewed for 4 to 6 minutes at 80 degrees centigrade. Five or six further infusions are possible.
