Product Description

Region: El Nicho, Escambray

Altitude: 600-800m

Variety: Typica

Process: Washed

This exceptional coffee has been grown in the highlands of Sierra Maestra since 1789. Cuban coffee is a relatively rare sight, so we are very pleased to offer this coffee as it has a unique flavour of its own.

The coffee is very smooth with virtually no acidity, and has a tobacco character with a toffee aftertaste.

We recommend brewing this coffee as a filter or pourover. Use 20g of coffee per 250ml of water.

The sabor of this coffee is exceptional. I drink it as an Americano with double espresso and topped up to a large cup with boiling water. I can taste the earth of Cuba’s highlands
