We understand in today’s somewhat bustling and busy world, that the days of good old fashioned personable service, is sadly somewhat lost. Well not here at HR Higgins, speaking with us is easy, no pressing numerous options to get through, no long queues and no automated voices.
A big part of the positive feedback we receive from our lovely customers, is because they can call and speak to a friendly voice and always get a warm and welcoming response.
Many of our loyal customers have been with us for over 60 years and love to tell us that their passion for coffee and tea started at our Malton Street Shop in London, often being introduced generationally through their family, with the tradition passing on.
We never want our approach to change in that, we care about our customers and will always have someone at the end of the phone to place your orders, deal with any queries or questions or , simply to offer advice on any of our products.
Lucy
Lucy joined to help with Sales and Customer Service in May 2022, however, has proved herself a perfect all-rounder, who now undertakes an array of other roles within the business. A real team player, who will do anything to help others, Lucy’s can-do attitude, is a real testament to how much she cares about others and the business. Lucy is a real asset to H.R.Higgins, with her infectious smile, and bubbly personality, which our customers love. If you have a query, Lucy will deal with this swiftly and efficiently and is also there to offer advice or recommendations on any of our products. Outside of work, you will find Lucy‘s most important role is being a busy Wife and Mum, often spotted at many sporting events with her 2 lovely girls, with her eldest daughter competing at a national level for her running. Lucy is also an avid gardener and loves nothing more than spending time potting plants and tending to her flowers, it’s the perfect way to relax after a busy day, with a cup of her favourite Higgins peppermint tea.
Sarah
“Good Morning H.R.Higgins Sarah speaking” Is the cheery response you will receive from our lovely Sarah every time you call. Sarah doesn’t offer good customer service because it’s her job, she offers it because she cares, it doesn’t matter if it’s a new coffee you want to try or an enquiry about delivery., Sarah will be there for you each and every step of the way. Sarah relocated from down south 3 years ago with her Son Harley and beloved dog Dallas. She is often found on the sideline of a football pitch watching Harley on a weekend who plays for a local football team as the goalkeeper. Whilst not at work, Sarah loves nothing more than a trek across the countryside and can often be found cooking up a storm in the kitchen, her signature dish being a good old fashioned Sunday lunch. One of her favourite things is to hear about, is how our customers have been using our coffee in their recipes, so, don’t forget to share your recipes next time you call.
