The Tea
An exceptional example of Assam tea, this top-grade, organic Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe is grown at the Chardwar Estate — a progressive garden on the northern banks of the Brahmaputra River, near the Bhutanese border.
The estate is managed by Tea Promoters of India, an organisation dedicated to revitalising historic farms through organic cultivation, sustainable practices, and social responsibility. Their work supports education, fair pay, and improved conditions for workers, while restoring soil health across the region.
Here, in Assam’s hot, humid climate, the tea plants grow swiftly and produce large, tippy leaves — rich with aromatic buds and packed with flavour. When brewed, the leaves unfurl to reveal a vibrant, amber cup with a full-bodied, malty character and a hint of fruit.
Bright, bold, and beautifully structured, this is a tea of remarkable depth — a classic choice for afternoon refreshment.
