H.R. Higgins achieves a gold recycling award with First Mile.

We are delighted to announce that H.R. Higgins has achieved a gold recycling award with First Mile. As a company, we've always been committed to protecting the environment, and we've always done our best to do that by recycling our waste.

This award is given to companies that meet or exceed the standards set by the Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP), an organization dedicated to reducing waste and creating sustainable practices in the UK.

We were able to achieve this status through our dedication to recycling, reusing, and reducing waste. It also helps us reduce our carbon footprint, meaning we are doing our bit for the environment.

Waste reduction is an important part of our overall mission at H.R. Higgins.

We would like to thank everyone who has helped us achieve this award, including First Mile and all of our staff.

As a company, we understand that we are responsible for reducing our environmental impact and decreasing our carbon footprint. We have created a specialized roasting and dispatch facility to achieve this goal that aligns with our mission.

Additionally, we prioritize sourcing materials from local small businesses whenever feasible. Our commitment to the environment extends to our packaging, which we continually assess to provide the most eco-friendly options possible. Our most recent improvement includes introducing fully recyclable postal bags.

The next goal we strive to achieve is to make all the packaging for our coffee and tea bags fully recyclable.
