From the start of our company we sought to achieve positive and meaningful relationships with those who devote their lives to producing quality coffee. Coffee is a difficult product to produce and requires devotion and energy to cope with our changing climate conditions The success of the coffee grower can depend very much on nature and the mercy of the elements.
My recommendation for August is El Salvador Finca El Ingenio Limited Edition, a coffee which has just become part of our selection. This high quality coffee has been farmed and produced by the Urrutia family since 1875 . Successfully guiding the farm through many difficulties, political and environmental that have beset so many of the Central American producers over many years.
This is a variety that will work well in any situation, from a special evening occasion at the end of dinner or as a refreshing and enlivening breakfast coffee at the start of the day. It will show its delightful character. The aroma reminds me of freshly baked pasty, a blackberry pie of crumble just out of the oven.
I enjoy its fullness and sensation of ripe fruit in the mouth. It is also quite subtle at the finish with a natural sweetness. It will work well in all coffee makers.
I do hope you enjoy it and send my very best wishes
