The Heritage Coffee Collection
Three generations. Three signature blends. The Heritage Coffee Collection is a celebration of the family legacy at the heart of H.R.Higgins. Together, these blends reflect decades of dedication, shared knowledge and a passion for exceptional coffee.
The Heritage Coffee Collection
Creole Blend
A true H.R.Higgins classic, Creole Blend has been part of our daily roasting schedule since the 1950s, when Harold Higgins created it in response to customers seeking a stronger, darker coffee without bitterness or acidity.
This blend brings together South American beans from Colombia and Brazil, roasted dark to create a cup that is powerful and rich, yet exceptionally smooth. Notes of dark chocolate and cacao lead to a refreshing blackberry finish, making it as perfect after dinner as it is at any time of day.
1942 Blend
Specially created by David Higgins, 1942 Blend is our premium espresso blend — a smooth, rich tribute to his grandfather and H.R.Higgins founder, Harold Rees Higgins, who began his business in 1942 with a passion for exceptional coffee.
Bringing together medium-roasted Arabica beans from small-lot farms in Brazil, Colombia, and Costa Rica, this blend delivers a perfectly balanced espresso. Expect a shot with notes of sweet caramel and vibrant fruit, full-flavoured yet free from bitterness — a true classic in every sense.
Vienna Blend
First introduced in 1946, Vienna Blend has been part of our range ever since. Created by Harold Higgins to meet the demand for the smooth, elegant character of Viennese-style coffee, it remains a customer favourite to this day.
A carefully balanced medium roast, Vienna Blend combines beans to produce a cup that is smooth and rich, with a medium body and delicate notes of honey, pear, and milk chocolate.
