The Tea
Famous for its smoky, syrupy taste, Lapsang Souchong continues to be a dividing favourite amongst customers.
The word ‘Souchong’ is a term used to describe large leaves that have been rolled lengthwise and are therefore somewhat coarser in texture.
This China Lapsang Souchong loose leaf tea has been withered over cypress wood fires giving it its distinctive smoky character.
Compared with the Formosa Lapsang Souchong, this tea is lighter in character.
