Christmas Blend Coffee - Mr Higgins Recommends

The end of 2021 seems to have come with a rush, and low and behold with it the season of Christmas and New Year. It seems fitting, therefore, that our Christmas Blend is my choice to bring to you for December’s Mr Higgins Recommends.

This year, we have once again created a new blend, especially for the festive season. Our new Christmas Blend coffee embodies the season, full of delicious Christmassy flavours.

A blend of Colombian and Costa Rican beans creates a sweet, smooth and luxurious brew. Our Christmas Blend Coffee has a fruity edge and a smooth finish.

With rich undertones of milk chocolate and a lovely balance of fruit with notes of orange and winter berries. It has a lovely aroma that reminds me of warm crumble just out of the oven.

Our Christmas Blend Coffee is wonderfully versatile and will suit most brew methods. It is delicious served black, with milk or cream. Or enjoy with a splash of your favourite season tipple.

A coffee to enjoy with friends, and in those quiet moments when preparations are done, just for yourself.

I sincerely hope you enjoy our festive offering and send my very best wishes for Christmas and a safe and healthy New Year

Sincerely

Tony Higgins

Rwandan Women's Cooperative Coffee - Mr Higgins Recommends

This month I am recommending a coffee produced by women. The Rwanda Women’s Cooperative Coffee Rusiga Sector is a collection of small farms entirely owned by women. They took over the ownership of their lands and are now expert coffee farmers with the help of the Kinini Project.

Mr Higgins recommends - Guatemala Nueva Granada

For February I am recommending one of my favourite light roasted coffees, Guatemala Nueva Granada from Central America. Grown high up in the remote area of San Marcos in sight of Central America’s highest mountain with its twin peaks, the extinct volcano, Tajumulco.
