Creole Blend Coffee
Creole Blend is one of our best sellers and is our classic after dinner coffee. Created by Harold Higgins in the 1950s, this blend was designed for customers who were asking for stronger, darker blends but without any harsh bitterness or acidity.
Creole Blend is a mixture of South American beans from Colombia and Brazil, roasted dark to produce a coffee that is powerful, rich and very smooth.
With notes of dark chocolate and rich cacao, this blend has become very popular as an after-dinner coffee, but the refreshing blackberry finish makes it perfect for all occasions.
Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee
Our Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee means you can enjoy a delicious brew in the evening without the caffeine.
First developed in Switzerland and now prepared under licence, the Swiss Water Process is notably popular. This chemical-free process uses only pure water as the prime means of extracting the caffeine.
We roast this coffee to a medium colour although because of the process it looks rather darker than a caffeinated coffee. The medium roast creates a naturally sweet and rich cup. You will experience notes of dates and chocolate, and a fig roll flavour.
Dipped Candied Fruit Box
A delicious selection of juicy fruits, gently candied for over a week to preserve the natural flavours and juices and then dipped and dressed in São Tomé single origin dark chocolate.

Our philosophy on choosing our coffee range
My grandfather had a vision. Back in the 1930s when he was working as a manager at the Kenya Coffee Company coffee was not seen as a speciality at all. He wanted to start his own business and in his diary he wrote:
The Art of Fresh Coffee: Why Beans is the Best Choice and the Importance of Roasting Date
There's something undeniably captivating about the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
In this blog post, we'll explore why fresh coffee reigns supreme over its counterparts and why the roasting date takes precedence over the best-before date on all of our H.R.Higgins coffee bags.
